On Twitter, Binance CEO, Changpeng Zhao a/k/a CZ, informed that the major Chines news outlet 163 ran a story saying that he was arrested in his mansion during an FBI raid, and a room of BNB and BUSD was found in the basement of the mansion. The news was picked up by many other Chinese news sites and quickly spread in many social media groups. While the original article is removed. Many copies of it are still available on other sites. The truth, however, is that this was fake news, and CZ has not been arrested.
