Montenegrin-born lawyer Marko Vujosevic had a thriving law practice in Belgrade until 2020. His law firm participated in the fraudulent binary options industry and procured dozens if not hundreds of work permits for Israeli citizens. With the cybercrime masterminds, Uwe Lenhoff and Gal Barak co-founded the illegal payment processor Global Payments Solutions DOO (GPS) in Podgorica that laundered millions for binary options like Option888 or TradoVest. After a lost defamation claim, Vujosevic’s law firm seems to have vanished. Google says it is temporarily closed.
The Cybercrime Suspect
Marko Vujosevic is one of the suspects in the cybercrime cases against Gal Barak and Uwe Lenhoff. Barak was sentenced in Vienna in September 2020 for investment fraud and money laundering to several years in prison and a restitution payment of more than €4 million. Lenhoff died in jail in the summer of 2020, but his accomplices like Betim Tasholli are currently on trial in Germany. Lenhoff and Barak’s organizations laundered millions through Global Payment Solutions DOO (GPS) in Podgorica, Montenegro.
Lenhoff and Barak have accused Vujosevic of embezzling millions through GPS. The IN4S (www.in4s.net) online news platform in Montenegro had reported on these GPS-related embezzlements. The newspaper said that part of this money was used to bribe officials and their relatives in Montenegro. IN4S purported that Vujosevic stole and laundered €19 million between 2017 to 2018 via Global Payment Solutions DOO (GPS).
The Lost Defamation Claim
Furthermore, IN4S claimed Milo Dukanovic (pictured with Marko Vujosevic above) financed his latest political campaign through the companies of his friend Marko Vujosevic. A politician mentioned in this report filed a defamation lawsuit and lost.
A few days ago, the court dismissed the defamation claim and ruled that the newspaper’s reports were not defamatory. According to the information available to FinTelegram, the Montenegrin court checked the criminal files in Austria and could confirm the allegations raised by IN4S.
According to the court order, GPS paid for example more than €115,000 to Andrija Boskovic, son of the Montenegrin politician and member of parliament, Peda Boskovic (Wikipedia) for “consulting services.”
The court order was a massive defeat for Marko Vujosevic, the target of a shooting attack in Belgrade in January 2021.
