After the surprise departure of the founders of Payvision a few days ago, mother ING has installed a new CEO in Andre Valkenburg. He will probably take on a not very easy job. The Dutch FinTech Payvision is or was involved as a payment processor in numerous scams and part of the investigations of law enforcement agencies in some jurisdictions.
The Payvision founders and board members Rudolf Booker, Gijs op de Weegh and Cheng Liem Li stepped down from the management board and left the company on April 30, 2020.

According to Payvision’s press release, Andre Valkenburg (LinkedIn profile) has more than 20 years of experience in the payments industry and has been working for payment companies such as Bibit and Worldpay. Before joining Payvision, he has been serving as CEO of Buckaroo, another Dutch-based payment solutions provider. Corné van der Meijden (LinkedIn profile) continues to act as Payvision’s Chief Financial Officer.
We wish the new CEO and his team all the best and hope that he manages to shake off the scam past. And of course, we hope that there will be a willingness to talk to compensate the many victims of Payvision clients.
