We have received whistleblower information that Straightpoint Trading Limited d/b/a StocksTech (www.stockstech.com) is a Bulgarian project registered in Cyprus. The mastermind behind StocksTech is the Bulgarian forex veteran Stefan Sotirov. The scheme’s LinkedIn page lists an address in Sofia, Bulgaria. According to the whistleblower information, StocksTech would be the operator of broker scams and boiler rooms. This may or may not be the case! We want to learn more about StocksTech and its environment.

The narrative
StocksTech, as a white-label platform, offers through its website to potential white-label clients the establishment of appropriate retail broker solutions in the field of crypto, forex, stocks, and Commodities. Of course, some of these white-label brokers may then act as unregulated brokers. We have seen this with the Israeli PandaTS, Leverate, and other white-label platforms. The company portrays itself as a well-funded FinTech community.
StocksTech is a new kid on the block, it seems. Its Facebook page has been launched in Oct 2021, and since then, most postings have been announcing new team members.
StocksTech applied for a full CySEC license as a technology and liquidity provider. It remains to be seen whether StocksTech will go the way of Leverate and operate its own regulated broker in addition to the white-label platform.
