Recently, the allegedly California and London-based fund recovery specialist FundsPayBack presented itself via a press release as an investigative company that could recover money from clients of various scams. Allegedly FundsPayBack has been in business for 25 years and has recovered nearly $41 million for 5,000 victims. The fact is that this scheme has only been active since January 2022 and works with fake reviews on Trustpilot. We believe it is a scam. Stay very far away.

Short Narrative
Fundspayback labels itself as a service, an international network of highly skilled “cyber financial forensic investigators and experienced legal practitioners dedicated to assisting individuals and corporations worldwide who have lost investments to fraud and need to recover their funds.” This would include victims of Pig Butchering.
Various legal entities and individuals have been named as operators and contacts on the website, press releases, and review pages. Most of them are likely to be fake. We found FundsPayBack Ltd in the UK, which was founded in April 2022 by the American Stephanie Fournier. No social media links or details of the acting persons are given.
This lady has also been appointed as a director in other fund recovery ventures since March 2022. These include AR Recovery Consultancy Limited, CN Recovery Consultancy Ltd, AM Investigative Consultancy Limited, and Escrow-Chain Ltd, all of which have their registered offices at the same address in London: 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX.
