FCO publishes evidence-led reporting on cyber-enabled financial crime. We distinguish clearly between allegations, charges, and adjudicated outcomes (e.g., convictions, sentences). When we get something wrong — or when new evidence changes the picture — we correct the record.

We encourage good-faith complaints from affected parties, readers, and professionals. Each complaint is logged and reviewed. If a correction is warranted, we will update the relevant content with an editorial note.

How We Handle Complaints

1. Acknowledgment: We aim to acknowledge receipt promptly (typically within 48 hours on business days).
2. Review: We assess the claim against primary sources (court filings, official statements) and credible documentation.
3. Outcome: Where appropriate, we will (a) correct factual errors, (b) add clarification, (c) publish an editorial note, or (d) explain why no change is warranted.
4. Urgent risks: If a complaint identifies a clear, material error (e.g., mistaken identity), we may temporarily update or qualify the relevant text while verification is underway.
