The fraudulent marketing campaign YuanPay today promotes (among others) the Cardanex (www.cardanex.io) broker scam. Anyone who registers with YuanPay because they want to get into the allegedly state-approved Chinese cryptocurrency at a low price is automatically created as a potential victim at Cardanex and redirected to its payment page. There, victims can then lose their money via credit and debit card payments. On the Cardanex website, we did not find any details about the operators except for a worthless address in London. Stay far away!
Cardanex is one of the hundreds of white-label scams from one of the numerous scam networks. It is a poorly made scam that is easily recognizable as such. Unfortunately, we know that the boiler room agents behind the scams can often be very pushy and convincing and always find victims. First and foremost, however, Cardanex is likely to attack consumers in German-speaking countries.
By registering with YuanPay, your data will be stolen and misused. This means that your personal information, such as name, email, or phone number, will end up in the scammers’ databases and will be abused. Stay far away from YuanPay and Cardanex.
