Whistleblowers have confirmed to us several times that law enforcement is looking for the Cartu Brothers. Recently, David Cartu and Jonathan Cartu were reportedly arrested in the United Arabe Emirates (UAE) on the basis of a Red Notice. Interpol issued Red Notices for fugitives wanted either for prosecution or to serve a sentence. A Red Notice is a request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action.
The Cartu Brothers are also said to have problems in Israel. Former employees are said to have filed lawsuits because the brothers did not pay them salaries. In these cases, the brothers are represented by attorney Oren Chen.
The Canadian-born Cartu Brothers – David Cartu, Joshua Cartu, and Jonathan Cartu – are now also Israeli citizens and were the operators of fraudulent binary options networks around the Irish GreyMountain Management Ltd (GMM). The brothers have their roots in online casinos and online gambling. This is still the business of Joshua Cartu who, at least until recently, lived in Budapest.
Numerous authorities such as the U.S. CFTC are looking for the Cartu Brothers. Currently, more than 30 former GMM investors are suing David Cartu and Jonathan Cartu and former GMM directors Ryan Coates and Liam Grainger over alleged binary options fraud in Dublin.
