Austrian FMA warns against LCoin Market scam powered by PumaTS

Spread financial intelligence

The Austrian Financial Market Authority FMA has issued an investor warning against the broker scam LCoin Market (www.lcoinmarket.com). This is allegedly operated by Triton Partnership Ltd. on St. Vincent and the Grenadines and uses the white label solution of PumaTS and the Activ8 trading platform. We have discovered AtomixPay, and iPayTotal as the scam facilitating payment processors.

Usual credentials

The LCoin Market scam runs on the PumaTS white-label platform and is integrated into the Activ8 trading environment of CySEC regulated Leverate Financial Services Ltd. A short Google Search for the Activ8 Trader gives an impression of how many scams are processed via this level rate platform. 10Crypto, Cryptokartal, i-trade24, and many more.

The scam might have been created as usual with PumaTS over the Wilfred Services Ltd. The client-victims are called by the boiler room agents via VoIP with a local phone number. Thus the impression is to be obtained that the calls take place from the respective country.

Facilitating Payment Processors

The AtomixPay platform and brand are operated by Atomix Technologies SRL, registered in Romania. The iPayTotal Group apparently consists of companies of iPayTotal LLC in Delaware, iPaySolutions Ltd in the UK, and iPayTotal OÜ in Estonia (Companies Register). The British Sen Kugan (aka Senthooran Kuganathan) manages and controls the UK company (Companies Register).
