Today, one of the dozens of spam emails that deliver scams to our doorstep leads us to The News Spy scam campaign on the Investing Offer (https://investing-offer.net/thenewsspy) website. It promotes game-changing software for online money-making. If you register with the campaign, you are also registered as a victim of the broker scam CryptoDock (www.crypto-dock.com) and directed to the scam’s cashier page. There we found the Estonian finanic as facilitating payment processors.
The CryptoDock a/k/a Crypto-Dock broker scam is allegedly operated by Maxima Ventures Ltd, registered in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. You can only register through a referrer like the fraudulent The News Spy campaign. It is not possible to register directly on the website.
Finanic OÜ d/b/a finanic (www.finanic.io) and MoneySwap OÜ d/b/a mercuryo (www.mercuryo.io), both licensed Estonian crypto payment processors, also process the deposited funds from CryptoDock.
