A few weeks ago, we received whistleblower information that StocksTech Limited (prev. Straightpoint Trading Limited, registered in Cyprus, is the operator of the Bulgarian white-label broker platform provider StocksTech. Currently, it offers an online trading solution, including CRM, to brokers. The Stockstech co-founder and mastermind is the Bulgarian forex veteran Stefan Sotirov. The scheme’s LinkedIn page lists an address in Sofia, Bulgaria. According to the latest information on the StocksTech website and LinkedIn, they applied for a full CySEC license.

The narrative
Before he founded StocksTech, Stefan Sotirov worked as CEO of V1 Global Service (www.v1globalservice.com), a Bulgarian affiliate network operator, and as COO for regulated broker Trading 212 (www.trading212.com).
StocksTech is a Bulgarian white-label platform operated via the Cyprus entity Stockstech Ltd. However, its technical headquarters seem to be in Sofia, Bulgaria. Through its website, StocksTech offers a white-label broker solution including CRM and back office to (potential) retail clients in crypto, forex, stocks, and commodities. The company portrays itself as a well-funded FinTech community.
StocksTech challenges competitors like the Israeli-Cyprus PandaTS of Maor Lahav and Shmuel Gutman. The company hired the two Cyprus-based managers, Alexandros Kritiotis and Christos Metaxas, as CEO and CFO.
According to the LinkedIn statement of its CEO, Alexandros Kritiotis, StocksTech is a “startup fintech company that is in the process of getting its full CySEC license” as a technology and liquidity provider. It remains to be seen whether StocksTech will go the way of the Israeli FinTech and white-label platform provider Leverate and operate its own CySEC-regulated broker and/or liquidity provider to further its white-label platform.
