A large percentage of brokerage firms in Colombia only provide access to local securities and do not allow clients to openly buy or sell foreign securities directly through a comprehensive system. Through DTT, we aim to give Colombians direct access to the global equity market, enabling them to diversify their investment portfolios internationally and discover new markets through prominent US-based exchanges. Additionally, residents can be sure of high security and transparency standards, as DTT is supervised by the Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia and the trusted partner to more than 80,000 traders worldwide,Andrés Gómez explained.

Gómez added: “I believe that fintech companies like us are beginning to open up this possibility to a lot of people who previously lacked access to international markets but wished to begin diversifying their investment portfolios. The country will soon benefit from this financial positioning, as there are countless opportunities, as well as new products and markets that will emerge in the future.

DTT’s primary objective is to invest in its operations and marketing to position its brand in Colombia; this includes hiring local talents, advertising, and taking part in several expos and events across the country, which will help increase DTT’s visibility to showcase their premium products and services to potential clients.
