Last week, the Italian regulator paused its black-out warnings. Today, Consob ordered the black-out of five illegal financial websites increasing the total number of black-out orders to 736. Against one of the scams, the Consob ordered to be blacked out FinTelegram has already issued warnings – FinCloud. All of the blocked websites are offering illegal Forex, CFD, or crypto brokerage services. It would be desirable if financial regulators in other jurisdictions were also empowered by their parliament to block access to illegal websites.
Below are the sites Consob has ordered to be blacked out:
- Smart Trade CFD with website https://smarttradecfd.com;
- Tradebaionics with website www.tradebaionics.net;
- UeTrades with website https://uetrades.com;
- Trustgarden Ltd with website www.trustgarden.net.
The number of sites blacked out since July 2019, when Consob got the power to order that the websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries be blacked out, has thus risen to 736.
