The Cyprus-controled crypto payment processor Steveyx OÜ d/b/a Venus Exchange, regulated by the Estonian FIU, has come to our attention several times as a payment facilitator for broker scams. For example, at AstonTrust, FirstCapital, Swiss Capital, Wealth Capital, or LincolnFX. Financial regulators of various regimes have issued warnings against them several times. German law enforcement agencies are currently investigating LincolnFX and its operators. On its website, Venux Exchange informs and warns against its (former) client LincolnFX.

The UK Watchdog FCA issued an investor warning against the scam broker LincolnFX (www.lincolnfx.capital) in January 2020, and the Spanish regulator CNMV issued another warning in February 2020. The scam was allegedly operated by Lincolnfx.capital Ltd and a clone of the FCA-authorized financial institution Lincoln Finance Ltd. Please read our report here.
Venus Exchange should know much more about its scam merchants and could assist law enforcement agencies with the information. The credentials provided by Venus Exchange in the warning are also associated with the scam XTRGate and ICM Trades. Apparently, deposits from victims of these scams were also processed through Venus Exchange. Once again, the traces lead to Cyprus.
