The Cartu Brothers – David Cartu, Jonathan Cartu, and Joshua Cartu – are very sought after people. They are currently being sued by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and Canada’s Ontario Securities Exchange (OSC) for alleged binary options fraud (report here). The CFTC claims that at least $165M has been stolen from retail investors (report here). The CFTC did not even include all of the Cartu Brothers‘ brands in the complaint. Therefore, it is likely that a multiple of this amount was processed through their GreyMountain Management (GMM) scheme and other entities. In this context, we would like to learn more about AEGIS Labs, Sandbox Media, and Kav Sheroot Tech.
We communicated with Joshua Cartu in November 2019 before the OSC and CFTC charges came out. He has denied any guilt and/or involvement in GMM and the binary options scams. That would have been only his brothers. He would live in Hungary for years and work for AEGIS Labs (Linkedin page) there. He would be an entrepreneur in the online casino business.
We have heard from whistleblowers that this AEGIS Labs (www.aegislabs.eu) is connected to Israeli call center operator Kav Sheroot Tech Ltd (www.kavsheroot.com) and Canadian Sandbox Media (www.sandboxmedia.ca). The latter would be closed by now. Allegedly, binary options scams were again conducted through the latter.
