Wolf of Sofia – Bulgarian report on alleged kill orders issued by Gal Barak

Spread financial intelligence

The Bulgarian press published a big report about kill orders the Wolf of Sofia, Gal Barak, allegedly issued. According to the information available to FinTelegram, these accusations should be true. Allegedly, the order for the murder includes former business partners of Gal Barak in Serbia and Montenegro as well as the publisher of FinTelegram. The persons concerned have filed respective criminal complaints with the competent authorities. The article also mentions Global Payment Solutions Podgorica DOO, founded in Montenegro by Gal Barak and Uwe Lenhoff. Lenhoff and Barak are said to have cheated their co-partners in this company by many millions. Allegedly, the kill order is also directed against these shareholders.

The Israeli Gal Barak is accused by the European authorities of being the operator of illegal broker platforms and boiler rooms. Thousands of investors are said to have lost more than a hundred million euros. The Bulgarian authorities have recently rejected the request to extradite Gal Barak to Austria. His German partner Uwe Lenhoff is currently in custody in Austria awaiting indictment and trial. The Bulgarian article also mentions Barak’s other partners, the Israeli Gery (Gabi) Shalon and the Russian Vladislav Smirnov. Allegedly, his partners urged Barak to take actions against his partners and FinTelegram.

Until Lenhoff was arrested, these four people operated a global cybercrime organization. According to reports, the retail investors of the illegal broker platforms XTraderFX, SafeMarkets, Golden Markets, and CryptoPoint have invested in new online casino projects.

Gal Barak and his partners were never squeamish in their choice of means. Bribery, threats, and assassination missions are apparently part of the arsenal of this organization.

Lenhoff’s arrest hardly affected the activities of the cybercrime organization. Boiler rooms continue to be operated in Belgrade and expansion into the Philippines is also being driven forward. The lieutenants of Gal Barak – Marina Andreeva, Kfir Levy, Amit Hulin, Jesse Tally, Dor Pelleg and others are busy with further expansion.

The Israeli money laundering network around Online Prospect, DYISY Group, and Simon Tetroashvili continues to launder millions for the network.
