In February 2022, FinTelegram issued a warning against the broker scam StakingTrades, which was promoted by fraud marketing campaigns. The scam’s website names STG CONSULT PLC in the UK as the operator. We have not found this company. In our initial review, we found the licensed Estonian crypto exchange oobit. The German BaFin announced investigations into StakingTrades and its operators. Please stay far away and protect your money, your data, and your mental health.

The scam narrative
There is actually no meaningful narrative around the StakingTrades broker scam. It is one of the numerous white-label mutations operated by one of the many cybercrime and boiler room organizations. In our review today, the only payment option we found was the licensed Estonian crypto exchange oobit Technologies OÜ d/b/a oobit (https://www.oobit.com). However, in our review on 26 May 2022, oobit was no longer listed as a payment option!
