Yukom Scheme – Yossi Herzog in Odessa and Kobi Cohen in Kinshasa

Spread financial intelligence

We have recently requested information on the whereabouts of the two beneficial owners behind the binary options fraud scheme being pursued by the U.S. authorities around the Israeli Yukom Communications Ltd. Specifically, we wanted to know the whereabouts of Yossi Herzog, the former boss and teacher of the already convicted Lee Elbaz. Rumors in Tel Aviv wanted to know that he is in Russia. In fact, however, he might be in Odessa, Ukraine.

Yossi Herzog and his partner Kobi Cohen are wanted by both the U.S. prosecutors and the U.S. Commodity Futures and Trading Commission (CFTC). The latter had filed a fraud complaint against Yukom Communications Ltd, its owners Yossi Herzog and Kobi Cohen, the CEO Lee Elbaz, and other companies and individuals. The CFTC’s complaint charges that the Yukom Scheme fraudulently solicited and accepted more than $103 million in connection with their binary options trading scheme. The complaint could not be served on Herzog, as he could not be found.

As previously reported, his younger partner Kobi Cohen operates the sports betting site Winner (www.winner.bet) in Kinshasa, DR Congo, and can draw on his call center resources in Mauritius.

In Israel, both are said to have already sold their properties and moved their assets out of the country. We continue to ask our readers to send us information and photos of Yossi Herzog and Kobi Cohen. Please use our Whistleblower System or simply our Facebook page.

  1. Fintelegram’s team are doing a great service for all of us but does anyone really look for the truth? I am one of few who really knows what happened there and i wonder why Fintelegram and other independent journals don’t reveal the real story. If you care about the absolute truth, why wont you highlight the fact that the worst scammers got no-prosecution agreement? Why wont you look for, and go after the individuals who actually scammed the clients AND the US prosecutors to believe that Herzog and Cohen are responsible? Is it because it’s convenient or is it simply because you dont know enough?
Real journalism should go for the truth whatever it takes. Even if it means to criticize the US prosecutors. People who actually know things, know that Herzog and Cohen are not located where you say they are. They also know that they are not the real scammers here. Do your job Fintelegram and we will salute you. The real truth will come out one day. Be the first to reveal it. We can’t think of anyone else who can do it better.
