We recently warned about the broker scam Investorix and shortly after the German regulator BaFin announced an investigation into the scam. A victim of Investirex has sent information to our warning stating that the scam was supported via the financial education provider BRICDISCOVERY allegedly operated by the African telecom company Brictel Limited in Nairobi, Kenya. Apparently, this company is active as an Introducing Broker for scams. Nairobi has become the forex hub in Africa. We would like to know more.

Short Narrative
BRICDISCOVERY offers four different training courses for online traders on its website ranging from $280 to $2,260 (screenshot left). Part of the purchase price paid by credit or debit card is then actually partially credited to the accounts of the brokered brokers like Investirex. After purchasing a package, victims also receive an email from Investirex et al. Stay far away.
We found some employees from Brictel Limited in Kenya on LinkedIn. The company is probably not really reputable. On the company’s main website, for example, the social media links provided do not work. The company does not maintain its own page on any of the important social media platforms.
