According to their website, the fund recovery scheme would be the International Authority of Financial Investigation (IAFI), the global money laundering and terrorist financing watchdog. That’s bullshit. We assume the IAFI fund recovery scheme operators are related to the Group 500 broker scam operators. Group 500 victims are contacted by IAFI agents promising to repay lost funds. Stay very far away.

Short Narrative
The worldwide authority responsible for combating money laundering and terrorist financing is the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) based in Paris. The IAFI fund recovery scam has copied excerpts of the texts on the FATF website (www.fatf-gafi.org).
In some cases that we know of, victims are contacted by scams like Group 500. They are told that a wallet has been discovered that is in their name. The available balance on it could be paid out However, the costs still have to be transferred beforehand.
A look at the IAFI website already reveals that this is a scam. Most links on the website do not work, and information about the alleged authority is missing. In this respect, victims should have no trouble identifying IAFI as a scam. However, boiler room employees of such scams are unfortunately very convincing and have suitable explanations available. Stay far away and do not fall for the promises.
