On Monday, the Italian regulator Consob ordered the black-out of five illegal financial websites, increasing the total number of black-out orders to 741. Against one of the scams, the Consob ordered to be blacked out FinTelegram has already issued warnings – GreenCapitalz. All blocked websites offer illegal Forex, CFD, or crypto brokerage services. It would be desirable if financial regulators in other jurisdictions were also empowered by their parliament to block access to illegal websites.
Below are the sites Consob has ordered to be blacked out:
- Alphapro FX with website https://alphaprofx.co.uk;
- Eurofxsecurities Limited d/b/a EuroFXsecurities with website https://eurofxsecurities.com;
- The Active Traders Ltd with website https://theactivetraders.com;
- Promarketing Ltd d/b/a GreenCapitalz with website https://green-capitalz.com;
- Enercom AG with website www.enercom.ag.
The number of sites blacked out since July 2019, when Consob got the power to order that the websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries be blacked out, has thus risen to 741.
