Israeli payment processor Finateco terminated its scam merchant CTMatador

Spread financial intelligence

A few days ago we issued another warning against CTMatador broker scam. In it, we noted that the broker scam, operated through Wind Holdings Ltd in St. Vincent & The Grenadines, had also registered as a merchant with Israel’s Finateco and offered deposits through it as an option for potential victims. Finateco contacted us and clarified that they had terminated their relationship with the scam merchant following FinTelegram’s report. In our new review on May 6, 2022, we were able to verify that Finateco is no longer listed as a payment option at CTMatador. Bravo for this!

The Israeli high-risk payment processor Finateco (https://finateco.com) is operated through Finateco Ltd, which is registered in St. Vincent & The Grenadines. On LinkedIn, Israeli Jonathan Meshumar is listed as the founder. Finateco is the new paytech kid around the high-risk merchants block and has apparently only been operating since January 2022.

Of course, we welcome the fact that Finateco has ended its relationship with CTMatador. Bravo for that. But since Finateco must have data about the operators, it would be only consistent that the Jonathan and his colleagues transmit these to us so that we can ask them before the curtain and present them to the public. We have made a request to Finateco in this regard. Stay tuned.
