Spread financial intelligence

A warrant of arrest was issued against Edo Kurniawan, a former vice president at Wirecard Asia Holding, on 7 September 2022, following a Red Notice issued by Interpol on 22 August 2022. Edo Kurniawan allegedly conspired with three former colleagues and Henry Yeo Chiew Hai to misappropriate funds from Wirecard Asia, among other offences. They allegedly siphoned between S$41,200 to S$100,000 from Wirecard Asia between May and December 2018.

The Red Notice was issued on charges of abetment of criminal breach of trust by a servant, abetment of falsification of accounts, abetment of transfer of benefits from criminal conduct, and acquiring benefits from criminal conduct.

James Aga Wardhana, Chai Ai Lim, and See Lee Wee are the three former employees. All three and Henry Yeo Chiew Hai, a director of Singapore firm Jacobson Fareast Marketing Services, were charged in court on 17 August 2022.

Interpol red notices are issued for fugitives wanted either for prosecution or to serve a sentence. It is a request to law enforcement agencies worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person – pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action.
