We honestly apologize to our readers for the inconvenience of the last weeks. The many DDoS attack waves have led to FinTelegram sites often not being accessible. We had to (and have to) block many IP addresses and users in the course of our defense measures. This block can also affect innocent visitors. Sorry for that but they can be unlocked via our “Register for Whitelisting” page.
The DDoS weapon
We passed on the data of the DDoS attack to the authorities in the USA and Europe and also directly involved the authorities in the DDoS attacks. The fact, however, is that DDoS attacks are a weapon for scammers to use against FinTelegram. Since the launch of FinTelegram in March 2018, our websites have been the target of numerous DDoS attacks. In our opinion, this only shows how important and correct the detection of these scams is.
Unbiased reporting
FinTelegram is one of the few media that does not report anonymously about scammers. Our contact details are given on our web pages. So far, we have not been deterred from uncovering scams and investment fraud by million ion lawsuits. DDoS attacks are often the last resort to silence FinTelegram. We do our best to be able to ward off these DDoS attacks better as well.
A distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt normal traffic of a targeted server, service or network by overwhelming the target or its surrounding infrastructure with a flood of Internet traffic.
