The Italian regulator Consob ordered the black-out of six illegal financial websites increasing the total number of black-out orders to 731. Against one of the scams, the Consob ordered to be blacked out FinTelegram has already issued warnings – MBInvest. All of the blocked websites are offering illegal Forex, CFD, or crypto brokerage services. It would be desirable if financial regulators in other jurisdictions were also empowered by their parliament to block access to illegal websites.
Below are the sites Consob has ordered to be blacked out:
- MBInvest with website www.investmb.eu;
- BTCoin Group with website https://btcoingroup.com;
- Levelprofit with websites https://levelprofit.com, https://levelprofit.vip, and pageaccount.tradingplatform26.com;
- AlphaFXprime with website www.alphafxprime.com;
The number of sites blacked out since July last, when Consob got the power to order that the websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries be blacked out, has thus risen to 731.
