On Monday, 26 September 2022, the Italian regulator Consob ordered the black-out of four illegally operating online trading websites, increasing the total number of black-out orders to 758. Consob has been authorized by the so-called “Growth Decree” to order Internet connectivity service providers to inhibit access from Italy to the websites through which financial services are offered without due authorization. Below are the sites to be blacked out:
- Xtbinvesting with website www.xtbinvesting.io;
- Invest Union Ltd d/b/a InvestUntion with website www.investunionltd.io;
- AdmiralEcn Cyprus with website www.admirals-ecn.com and https://my.mtpexperts.com;
- Cryptoneyx with website https://cryptoneyx.io.
The number of sites blacked out since July 2019, when Consob got the power to order the black-out of websites of fraudulent financial intermediaries, has thus risen to 758.
