Another Scam Broker Facilitator – Meet Boiler Room Supercharger DeskForce

The Israeli entrepreneur Elie Rubin is the man behind DeskForce (vormals Innitel), a well-known global VoIP provider which powers most of the binary options and forex scams. Gal Barak‘s E&G Bulgaria was one of the DeskForce clients that used the VoIP solutions for its boiler rooms. Typically, clients victims receive calls from a local number which is part of the solution provided by DeskForce. Those numbers are actually not traceable and hence secure for the scam perpetrators. DeskForce’s growth is closely connected with scam brokers and their illicit business.

Boiler Room Perpetrators and DeskForce Tools

Boiler Rooms are the centerpiece of Broker Scams. This is where the employees call clients and seduce them with false promises into transferring money. Boiler room employees (agents) are psychologically well-trained perpetrators and understand that they are ripping off clients. They act knowingly and willfully and thus are part of the cybercrime organization. These employees are well paid and rewarded with commissions on every deposit made by a customer. In the jargon of boiler rooms, these activities are trivialized as “Conversion Services” or “Retention Services“. Basically, they are ripping off customers. Currently, some of these boiler room perpetrators are charged by U.S. authorities for fraud (read the Yukom case around Lee Elbaz).

The Israeli news outlet Haaretz reported that the US FBI actually may hold boiler room agents responsible over investment fraud.

The tools for these boiler rooms and their perpetrating agents are provided by the Israeli company DeskForce. It’s Voice-over-IP solution enables boiler room perpetrators to call customers via local telephone numbers without leaving a trace. Typically, you cannot call back and a VoIP number. Therefore the company has all communication data of the customers and victims on the one hand and the scam broker operator on the other hand. Like the involved payment service providers, DeskForce is a facilitator and contributor of those broker scams.

DeskForce, E&G Bulgaria, And Zoo Broker Scam

Among the big clients of DeskForce are the illegal and fraudulent brokerage schemes of Gal Barak and his E&G Bulgaria. These schemes include XTraderFX, OptionStarsGlobal, SafeMarkets, GoldenMarkets and CryptoPoint. DeskForce knows them all. Fortunately for Gal Barak and his team, DeskForce via its Israeli Innitel Apollo Ltd has an office in Bulgaria with Elie Rubin as its director – Innitel Apollo.

Moreover, DeskForce also powers the boiler rooms behind the Zoo Scam Broker schemes such as FXtrade777, TradesEasy, ECNpremium, or CFDpremium.

We contacted Elie Rubin two weeks ago and asked him for his opinion. So far we have not received an answer. While DeskForce call center (boiler room) products may be innovative and legitimate products the company’s involvement in broker scams and investment fraud is not. DeskForce is another example how the Israel Startup Nation was powered by binary options fraud and broker scams at the expense of hundreds of thousands victims worldwide.
